Confirmed from Pioneer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shaded, family-friendly park featuring picnic tables and a playground for younger kids.
What runners say about Pioneer Park
“Cool old cabin + clean bathrooms, perfect lawn”
“They have a covered play area for small kids that offers a ton of shade.”
“This is a wonderful family friendly place to hold gatherings.”
This was a pretty great stop we made and had everything we needed. Restrooms, a nice area for the dog to run and picnic tables too. If ever in the area again I'm sure we will stop back by
Nice place to stop on a road trip to use the bathroom and let the dogs out. Big trees provide shade on a hot day. Lots of parking spots on the south side where we were able to park with our trailer.
I love the toddler park! Great place for Littles! I love how open it is so you can run and just have a good time. The park is gorgeous. Very green with lots of trees and flowers. They do a lot of events at Pioneer Park, which is cool, too. They have a wonderful covered area with tables and a stage.
It's a great park where events are held. Bathrooms are clean. Just wish there would be more shaded area when events are being held as it does get hot and the trees are covered in sap which melts in hot temperatures and rains down on you, so standing underneath in hot weather is not an option unfortunately.
