Fantastic little park. Well kept fields, access to the river, and quant hiking trails. There’s no playground equipment for kids, but I suspect that may be a reason that foot traffic is low resulting in this park, and the playing fields, being particularly well kept.
Beautiful nature trails with many small secrets hiding on the edge of the wild, waiting to be found. There are forgot stone stairs, mysterious pieces of asphalt from paths that must have one been paved, and beautiful views of the river. This is also one of the more fun ways to avoid traffic moving about the west side.
I bring my children to this location for summer camp and they love it. Although it's kind of hidden away it's a great place to explore if you like the outdoors. The river isn't is beautiful and just being outdoors with nature is relaxing the kids enjoy it because again they get to roam.
This trail is both shoveled and raked by Frank the TrailMaster. Me and my family love to go on walks each day, its a great place to bike and use a scooter (I like to call it scooting) I hope you will take walks on this trail to! 😁
