Confirmed from Plum Point Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverside open space with a dock for kayaks and canoes, plus paved paths and benches.
What runners say about Plum Point Park
“It was rainy and quiet, but peaceful and really neat to be able to look over the water and see part of Fort Norfolk.”
A nice little green space along the waterfront in Norfolks medical district. Good place for a stroll along the short, paved trails between doctor's appointments or a picnic lunch on a blanket in the grass. No restrooms. Historical markers include history of the site and surrounding area.
Small park that I didn’t know existed until we randomly explored the area one day. It was rainy and quiet, but peaceful and really neat to be able to look over the water and see part of Fort Norfolk. I would come back here again during better weather, but overall nice walk.
I just visited here the other day as I was walking down part of the Elizabeth River Trail and found that this was a really good place to sit and relax. There are benches around where you can sit and watch ships go by. It's the perfect spot for a sunny day.
Beautiful little hidden park with a paved trail, obstacle course, & water views in the heart of downtown!
