Confirmed from Poland Municipal Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with paths for walking, hiking, and wildlife watching, including bluebells and deer.
What runners say about Poland Municipal Forest
“My husband and I went there to ride our horses the trails were beautiful and we will definitely go back there again to ride”
Nice spot to go for a walk, I grew up playing in these woods. Pretty well maintained paths in a very safe area. Not a very large wooded area so in many spots you will see somebody's backyard or hear traffic. Fairly popular so you will see a few people walking any time you go.
Enchanted place filled with uniqueness and warmth. If you want simple paths or want to get your feet muddy, there is a section to enjoy. LOVE IT!
Its a good walk and relaxing. There's rest room and picnic area or rest areas are as well

“Good for walking a dog but it's all gravel so even if it's not muddy they're still going to get a little dirty.”

Plan your run at Poland Municipal Forest
The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
