Confirmed from Pony Express National Historic Trail - Eagle Mountain Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pony Express National Historic Trail - Eagle Mountain Trailhead
“Scenic hike with a picturesque overview of Cedar Valley”
Great place to go for a little hike with the family. My wife and I would like to bring our family here with bikes some time. Then we can race down the paved trail where the Pony Express riders used to ride their route. Very historical location.
Not much here, a few signs about Pony Express, but the view is really worth the stop, imagining your bags full of mail, your pony full of oats, and all that trail in front of you all the way to Missouri, like how I felt having to drive home from SLC.
