Confirmed from Port of Skagit Nature Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Easy, flat trails, some with gravel, for hiking, biking, running and dog walking, near an airport.

Many, many flat gravel trails around the airport and one beyond toward FarmToMarket Rd.! Most are along quiet roads, yet overall it's a little bit boring... ...just pick a starting point and park in any business parking lot. It was good to find a sunny place, but the winter wind was harsh !!
Took the pup to train on a new trail. Glass in the lot - take your valuables. The trails are clean, well maintained, beautiful wetland area. Great for dogs on leashes (lots of wildlife so please respect that). There is also a free library at the parking lot
First time here today with my two doggies. Wonderful trail, flat and all gravel so it's easy to walk on. Great for dogs and kids, no elevation. DONT LEAVE BELONGINGS IN YOUR CAR

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceCrushed gravel — the rail-trail classic: softer than asphalt, still smooth enough for tempo work
- Distance10 mi as reported — check whether that is one way or a round trip before you commit. Long enough for a real long run.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
