Confirmed from Port Providence Trailhead - Schuylkill River Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Man this trail is breath taking. I have seen many turtles, which I think is amazing. This trail goes on for a long time. You can do many things. Well paved/ Gravel roads taken care of very well. Just a beautiful trail.

★★★★★ — Nick , May 2021

I run here all the time. There's tons of parking, nearby restrooms, and the trails here connect the Perkiomen trail, Schuylkill River Trail and the SRT Tow Path, There's an easy 15 miles of trails nearby, all connected up and expertly maintained.

★★★★★ — Ben , Jul 2020

Nice, peaceful trail with plenty of ducks and geese. The trail is not that wide so if you are walking you have to listen out for a biker coming up behind you.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 10 mentions

“The trail head provides restrooms with running water, water fountains, picnic tables, plenty of parking, and a bike rack.”
