Confirmed from Potawatomi State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Very nice family oriented campground, with a lot of pretty nice trails, some designated as bike ones some as walking ones, as well as a section of the ice age trail coming through this park.

My pup and I spent 2 nights at Potawatomi SP, June 2022 testing out our Teardrop camper and hiking the Sturgeon Bay segment of the Ice Age Trail. Our campsite (#66) was perfect! Easy back in, very level, lots of room. Large picnic table and fire ring complete with swing out grill.

★★★★☆ — Jane , Jun 2022

A hidden gem! We love this beautiful park with gorgeous wooded areas and a breathtaking view of the bay. The tower is definitely worth climbing to see the view of the surrounding area. They have plenty of restrooms, numerous trails and ample parking at different areas.

Spent a few hours walking the tower trail/ ice age trail through the woods and along the coast. Beautiful trails. Variety of plant species and big tall gorgeous trees! The water is clear and refreshing once you get there. All of the beauty of nature is quite a refreshing and resetting getaway!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
