Confirmed from Prescott Peavine Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 12 mentions

“It is a place to see with a Lake to hike around a trail to ride and a picnic to be anywhere among the beautiful landscape of Watson Lake !”

Great Trail with Beautiful views at different spots along the way. It’s good for walking, biking, your dog, etc. One thing you might want to know is that even though this is a mostly flat trail, there are a lot of rocks jutting out of the ground, so be careful, easy to trip.

★★★★☆ — Joyful , Aug 2023

This is a lovely trail suitable for the beginners (more advanced hikers could use Watson Lake Trail through multiple connectors. Peavine trail is bit boring and dusty on the first part, further up it is beautiful.

★★★★☆ — Jan , Feb 2020

This is an easy out-and-back trail with very little elevation change. Goes as far as you want but keep in mind you've got to get back. At about 1.5 miles in there are stunning views of Watson Lake.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 16 mentions

“If you are Exercise Challenged, there's usually a guy in the parking lot renting eBikes by the hour, at reasonable rates.”
