Confirmed from Preston Meadow Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Preston Meadow Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (426 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“The park is well-maintained, spacious, and we witnessed a beautiful sunset as the daylight faded.”

several playgrounds to play on, as well as open spaces, fields and trails.

Love to go here, but recently I have seen dog owner who use this park Irresponsibly. They allow large dogs to run without leashes, poop all over the field, and don't pick it up. If you can't be a responsible dog owner don't own one. There are dog parks in plano designed to allow you to let your dog run free use them.

Preston Meadow Park is a wonderful outdoor space! Well-maintained, perfect for picnics and outdoor activities. The playground is enjoyable for kids, and the walking trails offer a pleasant stroll. However, it could use more shaded spots and additional amenities like water fountains.

I played at this park as a kid, and now I'm here with my kids. They've really done a good job updating the place and keeping it clean. The only reason why I give it 4 and not 5 is because the water fountains are in the middle of the park, closer to the school, so you'll have to walk a bit to it if you're at the…

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 7 mentions

“you can see children playing baseball, people with their pet dogs and it's a good place within the city to walk and cycle 👍”
