Confirmed from Prince Hill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Prince Hill Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (165 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 11 mentions

“I only come here for youth soccer, but the park is nicely maintained with a playground area and basketball courts along with a walking oval and soccer fields.”

The playground looks to be geared towards older kids (4-10) year olds. Still a few things to do with the little ones. There is not a way to walk up to the higher areas of the tower so if you have a child that doesn't want to or is scared to come down you will need to embrace your inner kid and climb up the tubes or…

Very family friendly park. Perfect for the whole family, just needing a bit more shade for hot days. There is a large basketball court, a swing set and a large play scape and a small one for smaller toddlers (this one features a metal slide though, so beware on those super hot days!).

Great park for walking. Paved yrack along with woodland trails. Playscape for the little ones and basketball courts, too. Fields for soccer. Porta johns available. All in a rural setting and well maintained by the Town of Brooklyn recreation department.

I only come here for youth soccer, but the park is nicely maintained with a playground area and basketball courts along with a walking oval and soccer fields. Nicely done.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
