Confirmed from Puffers Pond's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Very nice easy walk around the pond, with other opportunities for more challenging hikes in the area.”

Great spot to hang out with friends near water. Not very crowded, it's quiet and isolated. Make sure to complete the Puffer pond trail which is a 0.8 mile loop around the Puffer pond (walkable from end of April to fall season). On the way, you will also encounter the beautiful Puffer falls.

I walk around Puffers a lot. It has a nice hiking trail and some hidden trails that branch out. It's a fun spot to be and very pretty to look at all year long. I avoid swimming here due to the high water temp but the incoming stream is perfectly fine.

We followed the GPS, and it didn't lead us to the waterfalls. You have to go to Summer St. on the other side, park and walk to the bridge it was beautiful out there. Its a small beach with several hiking trails and lots of wildlife. The Pvta goes out there. They have porta-potties and handicap parking.

★★★★★ — Dawanda , Jun 2023

Clean water not deep. Good for kids and people who can't swim. Amazing serene place, except for the crowded times. The small falls area shows rainbow depending on sunlight. There's also smal hike trails (terrain) for hike lovers. Buggy trail. Make sure to keep bug spray.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
