Any time we are in Amherst we take walks here with our dog. It’s absolutely the best for leash-off dog walking. Although it’s not accessible for physically disabled people, it is a great resource for an easy 1-2 mile hike.
This spot is amazing a bit of a ride from Springfield but it was well worth it when we got there the trails through the woods were absolutely amazing all kinds of wooden bridges to cross in a clean running stream. Very easy
The beginning of orange RF trail is very relaxing with brooks sound along the way, various color of mushrooms brings the joys to me.
