Confirmed from Putnam Valley Town Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

ScenicDog-friendly

Clean, well-maintained green space with playgrounds, sports courts and a dog run.

Best park ever! Clean and beautiful grounds, and our dog loves the seperate small and large dog enclosures. They also have free concerts as well. Ball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball area, and a large childs play area. There are also trails to hike on.

I usually take my daughter during the summer time to try to unwind a little during the day. She gets to run around and go on the playground. The day that we went there to visit there were these 2 children that were unsupervised around the age of 10 that we're walking around with A pretty large bowling ball size Rock…

Came here with my daughter and my dog. Went to the dog park and had a great time socializing and walking. There is a playground and baseball diamonds here also. The park seems to be well maintained and we ran into some maintenance staff here and they were extremely friendly and helpful.

Great space to go for a walk, some easy off-road trails, and a really pleasant area with good amounts of light and a lot of beautiful wildflowers. Plenty of parking and enough space to really avoid people if that's what you're looking for!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 35 mentions

“Tennis, basketball, volleyball courts, soccer field, toddler and kid playgrounds, dog playground too.”
