Confirmed from Sylvan Glen Park Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Local and dog-friendly park featuring a few lakes, 8 miles of trails and an old quarry.

great hidden gem perfect for a long meditative hike with your dog or friend! good cell signal in case you get lost and need your map like I did! slopes are not steep but some areas are rocky. very well shaded!
This has a really nice dog park and an incredible hiking trail. It's well organized with color markers, beautiful sites, lots of signs to show the history. You could take smaller hikes, but if you want to push yourself there are plenty of tougher trails.
This is another great park for hiking. Nice, shady trails well marked.
Great place to walk with so much history. Be sure to bring GPS device so you stay on the trail you want. Amazing place that I will return again to make sure I see everything. Make sure you take your time to explore everything this place has to offer including a dog park, great trails, lakes, and so much history
