We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Quail Meadows Day Use Area, Toro County Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

★★★★★ — Alexandra , Jul 2023

This is a fun place to go to especially for young children since it’s a playground there. There’s also lotta picnic tables and a sink there so that you can use it to wash her hands if it is necessary. Around there it’s just a big meadow for the large field for us about an acre or so.

★★★★★ — Laba , May 2021

So many trails to choose from and very hot weather now, so bring hat and sunscreen. Also nice place to have a BBQ or just have a picnic on the grass or on the table benches. You can park outside or inside and its free for now to park due the the pandemic

★★★★★ — Patty , Jul 2020

Lots of open areas, well established trails, and lots of area for grilling.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

⛰️ Hills / elevation 3 mentions

“Around there you can also see a lot of hiking trails and there’s a lot of hilly places that you can climb up it’s a lot of fun.”
