Came for hiking today for the First time, i really liked the different trails, took me two hours to do the whole five miles trail, parking lot easy to find, restrooms available, pets friendly.
Ample parking and numerous trails from this side of Fort Ord Monument. This parking area is gated. The left side is for people with trailers or longer vehicles and the right side is for more compact cars. There are bathrooms and a shaded picnic area. Trail information map is also posted.
Fort Ord is always a great place to hike. You can take easy or hard trails. It is up to you.
Quiet, peaceful & clean. Had a great time, awesome place to take a hike, ride a bike or just relax & take in the scenery.
