Took a short walk on this trail from the Issaquah community center parking to visit Jakob 2 Trees the new wood art troll, it was really cool! Quite a number of people were here to see him on a weekday evening, since this just debuted about a week ago. It was a nice city trail, great for after dinner walk!
This trail can also be accessed from the Issaquah Dog Park. Quite a popular trail with lots of traffic even on a weekday evening. Trail is concrete, well maintained, and well-shaded with big overhanging trees. Jakob Troll is here too!
There is, of course, the troll but this is a nice wide paved trail that meanders through several different areas. At roughly 2.5 miles it follows an old rail line. Great dog walking area with a small off leash area along the way.
Jakob Two Trees is an amazing sculpture. This was our second troll find and worth the drive. It was a beautiful sunny day, and Jakob was fascinating to see. His birdhouse necklace and long hair tied back were just a few of the exquisite details in this lifelike piece of art.
