Confirmed from Ramsdell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ramsdell Park
“Be prepared for miles of walking, small steep hills and few muddy areas but well kept easy trails.”
“Quiet, outside, wood picnic tables on cement, mowed path to take hikes it's nice”
Has nice wide trails so you can walk next to your loved ones, dog friendly. Great place to collect wild flowers. I also love foraging here as mowing isn't to frequent right now we found strawberries all over, there are chives, grapes, blackberries, autumn olive and many nut bearing trees.
great trails for a family hike. While out I seen frogs, birds, deer, a busy beaver and more. its a blessing to have this land saved for all to enjoy. Thank you DAVID R. RAMSDELL for your gift.
Great park, much more to it than we expected! Many trails throughout with several ponds, very well maintained.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
