Confirmed from Trestle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Bike-friendly park with boardwalks winding through wooded areas and a river running through.

What runners say about Trestle Park

“A pretty and clean place to walk trails, wade in the water or have a picnic”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“This is a beautiful Park and wonderful to walk through, ride your bike, and even test your skateboard skills.”

Super cute place to take pictures! We went and got ice cream and sat at the picnic tables and listened to the water. The trails are nice too!

★★★★★ — Liberty , Apr 2021

If your looking for a place to walk this is it. Lot of trails that lead off from one another. Also a great history behind the trails used to be part of an old railroad line.

★★★★★ — Greg , Jul 2022

A very nice park. Great use of the old railroad trestle that frames the picturesque River Raisin. Also a nice elevated path through the woods.

★★★★★ — Gordon , Aug 2025

Great park in a dynamite location! There is the connection to the trail, but also the one connected to the woods, which makes for a great variety in walking with a partner/dogs!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
