Confirmed from Ramsey Canyon Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wildlife-rich preserve featuring well-maintained trails for hiking and bird watching.

Absolutely beautiful place. The folks who run the visitor's center are welcoming and helpful and the visitor's center has clean restrooms. There is so much wonderful wildlife to see here, including many species of hummingbirds, coatis, deer, frogs and dozens of other bird species, just to name some.
Ramsey Canyon Trail was a perfect scenic walk with so much to see. We were amazed by the nature - butterflies, caterpillars, lizards, birds, so many different species of trees, bushes, mushrooms, a couple structures - all great photo ops! The trail is mostly shaded.
OMG this place was so beautiful. I never expected to see fall colors like we did in Arizona! We went here in November during Thanksgiving week. There were so many big beautiful wild turkeys and deer that were not afraid of humans taking their pictures 😊 The hike up through the trees is an easy one and so worth it.
This place is incredible!!! 😭😭 So many hummingbirds. We also saw tons of butterflies, deer, squirrels, spiders, frogs, hawks, ladybugs, lizards, and woodpeckers. The walk is gorgeous. I would absolutely come here again and again.
