Confirmed from Ranch Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Shady playground at a tree-filled park for basketball and volleyball courts.
What runners say about Ranch Trails Park
“The whole park is pretty well shaded, which helps a lot in the Texas heat.”
“There is also boat rental and the river is so calm and beautiful.”
Our new favorite park! My 3yr old and my 10yr old can both enjoy the parks here. I like how they have several different areas as well as new play things I’ve never seen anywhere else. Bonus that there is workout areas for me to enjoy as well! The bigger park is nicely shaded, so that is a big plus as well.
My kids favorite new Park It has a very nice playground with lots of different things to do Tons of trees so lots of shade and nice tables and benches There is also a sand volleyball court and basketball court as well as some exercise stations and walking trails

We had a picnic on a Saturday with a couple of 4 year olds. There is a covered area with picnic benches. Park to keep kiddos busy. Nearby basketball court, bring your own ball. No sign of bathrooms. There are also walking trails.
