Confirmed from Rancho Mirage Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great park, clean and not crowded. The stage area is big and lots of seating. Tennis courts are well maintained and lighted as well as the exercise equipment around the path. Basketball courts are also in good shape. Grass is green and level.

Great new park still having some final touches being made. Love the exercise course, the shaded picnic area, the pickleball courts, the playground, and the amphitheater. You need a few USAPA ambassadors to partner with your parks and Rec committee to help run open play in a smooth and consistent manner.

This park was clean with a couple of obstacle course-like games for the kiddos. There's a huge firetruck that's great for imagination play. And a nice green patch of grass for small field games. I appreciate that there is plenty of shade, too, and benches.

Rancho Mirage Park: the desert’s best-kept secret (and I almost hate to spill it). It’s got everything—grassy fields, picnic spots, courts for all your sportsy needs, and a killer gym track. But let’s talk about the fire truck slide. To my three-year-old, it’s a full-blown, emergency-ready fire truck.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
