We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Michael S. Wolfson Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Michael S. Wolfson Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (11 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“A beautiful, little park to take a stroll, sit and read a book or just gaze at the fabulous mountains surrounding it.”

A beautiful, little park to take a stroll, sit and read a book or just gaze at the fabulous mountains surrounding it. The Butler Abrams trail runs right behind it if you want to go for a longer walk.

★★★★★ — Jackie , Feb 2021

Delightful little park that has several beautiful cactus. It is very small about the silver of a football field or smaller. There is a walking trail that goes along the Riverbed. The park is upkept and great to digest the day if you dont mind the sounds of traffic on Frank Sinatra.

★★★★☆ — The , Oct 2025

Decent area for a quick breathe of fresh air. The area seems small but it is so deal w . Has a trail attached so you can make a trek from one side of the neighborhood to the other. Nice area for lizards and birds as well as some bees and such.

★★★★☆ — Peter , Dec 2022

Since they added the new section the parking is much better. Always pleasant to head here for a brief chill in the park or as a starting point for a nice walk down the wash.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
