Confirmed from Rasmussen Woods' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring hiking trails through meadows & wetlands, plus wildlife viewing & a nature center.
What runners say about Rasmussen Woods
“There are quite a few well kept trails and enough room to explore a bit, even though it's surrounded by the city.”
“Absolutely beautiful great paths archery only hunting during the season on the other side will take tons of photos the next time I am there.”
“Beautiful and quiet scenery, lots of skeeters though so bug spray is a must.”
I love this place! All of the wonderful paths are dirt, wood-chip covered, and further down the path, a floating trail. Rocks to climb. Trees to admire. A lovely creek. This park has it all and it’s one of my all time favorites. Highly recommend!
Peaceful and beautiful park. The floating pathway is unique when there is water around. People seem to respect the woods so there isn't liter, pretty clean park. Rock structures along the trail are worth exploring.
This is a neat little park in Mankato. There are several trails including a floating boardwalk. Lovely trees and rock formations to look at.
Fun little trail area! The kids love to explore the cliffs, make sure to take that path if you go to the park!

“It was a gorgeous trail and scenery, but the hills that go up on the trail were incredibly slippery covered in ice and very hard to get up.”
