Confirmed from Rawhide Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Quirky urban recreation area with climbing structures, metal sculptures & 3 walking trail loops.

This place is simply superb. Located in a neighborhood and yet very close to the main road; calm and serene. Though the name says "Rawhide 'park'", it actually is more of a trails.

Beautiful place to walk!! Swinging benches, ducks and geese. 3 parks along the trails but no bathrooms. Even more beautiful at night.

Well maintained. I love the map that shows the different routes you can take with the mileage included. I enjoy seeing ducks, turtles, and other animals there. It's a great place to walk. A wonderful place to take your kids because they have a small park and library right there. One of the places to feel at peace.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work

  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
