Confirmed from Gilbert Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Beautiful old Florida ecosystem, visible alligators along walking paths, Spanish moss, scrub oaks, birds native and migratory.”

A very well kept park with a beautiful little creek. There is a playground that looked quite large and spacious to accommodate lots of little ones. We didn't venture too far into the park but it was really nice.

Located not far from the Mount Dora Lighthouse, this medium-sized park has a shelter area with picnic tables, playground facilities with climbing features including one shaped like a pirate ship, a walking trail, public restrooms and even barbecue grills.

Wonderful children's park in a great community. Sensory pleasing play equipment for my asd kid and a special swing for her while also having challenging play equipment for my super active 7 year old. A great couple feeding birds talked to us by the lighthouse and let my son feed birds with them.

My family and I went after eating Thanksgiving dinner. We walked around, enjoyed the sunset off the water. Absolutely beautiful! We walked the trails there. Caution, there are alligators, so be alert! They will come right up to the bank and watch.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
