Confirmed from Red Arroyo Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring kid-friendly hikes and trails for walking and biking.
What runners say about Red Arroyo Trailhead
“Took the baby for an evening stroll, beautiful.”
“Great place to walk, run, or bicycle.”
Of course I love this place Me,My Grandkid and Dog would walk this trail and on occasions we seen Deer like real which was cool we seen a stinky skunk once also I believe it was a coyote also seen fish bouncing around it's nice place to walk or just find a place under the shade of trees and sit or stand and enjoy…
This trail is definitely worth the walk and bike riding. I rode my bike from Sherwood Way to Knickerbocker along red arroyo and exercise was the right amount for me. Also a place to meet good people who like to jog, walk, biking like you.
Good place to walk or ride a bike. It definitely needs more trees though. There are few trees along the trail but during the summer when it's very hot it would be unbereable to walk in so much heat and no shade.
Wide open space to go for that 5 mile or 1 mile walk. I take my Maltese sometimes likes it out there, btw there is a dog park there but I have yet to take my dog.
