Confirmed from Meadowcreek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (171 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“Equipment is clean and well taken care of, plenty of space for many activities.”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“The only downside is that there is no canopy covering over the playscapes which makes it hard for the kids to play on then during the day.”

This park is perfect for families with little ones, catering to ages 2-12. With two play structures, there’s something for both toddlers and older kids to enjoy. The shade situation is a total win—plenty of spots to sit and relax while the kids play. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush grass and a well-kept .

Great little known park in San Angelo that is tucked back in the Southland housing area. The park has a play structure for kids, a trail going around the perimeter, a baseball field, two tennis courts, and lots of grass.

★★★★☆ — Michael , Dec 2017

This is my favorite park in San Angelo. It’s nice that it is in a neighborhood because it feels safer than the parks in the heart of the city. There’s a large field to run around or 2 playgrounds which are great for the kids. It’s so comfortable and I love it!

★★★★★ — Muriel , Dec 2020

Nice open space for kids to run around. Nice, simplistic playground equipment. Hide-and-seek isn't really an option here, but there are plenty of other activities here. There's even a Poké-Stop for the Pokémon Go players.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“Only downside is that the parking lot is on the opposite side of the play structures, and there is no restroom.”
