We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Red River East Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Red River East Trailhead
It's a nice spot. You are able to pull your car between the railing (or around ) and get your kayaks right down the boat launch. Unsure why some have said there is a long walk to the water. The pond(settling pond) is also a great place to catch a mess of pan fish.
Always come here to relax and look at the water qhile I walk the trail
Trail conditions & character
“Water level was too low to do anything I was able to get in the water, but getting out was extremely difficult.”
