We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Redding Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Redding Trail
There's a playground halfway and a dog park towards the end of the trail. Needs more shade for those hot summer days.
Addison is a great place to live and the Redding Trail is an added bonus. Clean, well lit, wide and not congressed this concrete trail and surrounding green spaces is amazing! People parks and dog parks make it a favorite for residents.
This is really a pretty park and it’s a nice place to walk in Addison. The only downside is the power lines are a little eyesore. I always see residents and their pets enjoying themselves on a walk or bike ride.
A nice walking path - a pickleball court and volleyball courts right off the parking lot. Water fountains on the path, including a lower one for good doggos.
Trail conditions & character
“Near the renovated dog park and will extend more when townhomes are completed.”
“If you for get the water there are water fountains along the trail, for people and dogs!”
