Confirmed from Redwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park set amongst giant redwood trees with picnic tables, a lounge for events & small stage.

Redwood Park in Arcata, CA is an absolute gem that takes you on a journey through towering ancient trees and serene natural beauty. From the moment you step onto the trail, you're transported into a world of awe-inspiring giants that make you feel humbled by nature's grandeur.
We love Redwood Park the new Updated place structure is awesome for all ages. There’s a place for older kids and a separate place for younger kids. If you want to take a stroll through the redwoods head over to the trails or have a picnic sit in the grass relax and enjoy the park.
Hands down one of the most wonderful parks I have ever been to. Amazing scenery, centrally located in Arcata, and incredibly well maintained trails. Coming from the East Coast, it was a truly humbling and remarkable experience. Very thankful to have experienced it!
If you are a newcomer to this park, I suggest to scan the QR code at the Trail Heads. This will lead you to Avenza Maps, very useful for real-time location tracking on the trails. I can’t say there is a bad time to visit this park!
