Confirmed from Reed Canal Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a really nice park to live right up the street from! My husband and I come here often and enjoy long walks around the lake and forested areas. Lots of wildlife, nice sidewalk/trails, family friendly. It's fun to see the disc golfers having a good time. Beautiful any time of day.

Discovering Reed Canal Park was an absolute delight! This is where the giant Sloth that is displayed at the Science Musium was found! Nature Trails: The shell hiking trails are perfect for a peaceful walk and a great way to connect with nature.

What a beautiful little park! Feed the turtles and see all the different species of ducks and birds, who call the park home. Plus free disc golf and a wonderful place for a barbecue with men’s and women’s always clean bathrooms provided. It’s a half mile walk around the park!

★★★★★ — Mike , Jul 2024

This is a nice, big park with a lot to do. There is a large playground and swing set, disk golf, a walking/running path and a dog park. There are restroom facilities on site.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
