Confirmed from Willow Run Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Local playground offering sports fields, courts and a pond, plus clean restrooms.
What runners say about Willow Run Park
“Those bathrooms are SO CLEAN and smell like Pinesol!”
2 tennis courts in reasonable shape. Kids playground, restrooms, and dog walk areas. Small neighborhood park.
During the summer months when school is out it's a great place to go with the kids. There's large areas to run play soccer big swing sets multiple basketball courts a large tennis court and a small area for smaller children a covered picnic table and a water fountain.
I walk my dog through the park. Nice tennis courts and it has clean restrooms! Always fun to be there when the school kids come out for recess! Helps me get over not seeing my precious grandkids that often....**sigh**...They do enjoy their time outside!
Trail conditions & character
“But whoever does the keeping up of the bathroom areas needs a raise!”
“I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the water fountain was not working.”
“I like this park as it has multiple basketball hoops and the court lights come on after dusk.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
