Confirmed from Reiter Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The park is nice with a walking trail, kids playground. There are available picnic spots.

Reiter Park is a community park comprising 6 acres on the northeast corner of Warren Avenue and Milwee Avenue in the central part of the City, immediately west of downtown.

★★★★☆ — Sablue , Oct 2025

Beautiful park, open field, different kinds of plants, animals, walk way over water. Wouldn't have birthday parties here because there's really only one pavilion with tables. Really cool splash pad for kids

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
