Confirmed from Secret Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice quaint little park. We come after work and set up our hammocks and watch the sunset. Has free parking, bathroom, gazebos with picnic tables, a walking path, a playground for kids and the beautiful secret lake. It’s pretty busy though, expect a fair amount of people around while you’re there.

Secret Lake Park – A Peaceful Hidden Gem Secret Lake Park is one of Casselberry’s best-kept secrets—a beautiful, quiet spot perfect for relaxing, exercising, or spending time with family.

★★★★★ — Anatolian , Feb 2025

Secret Lake Park is one of our favorite parks in Casselberry. My twins always have fun. The playgrounds are spacious and fun. They have separate play areas for older and younger kids. The walking trail around the lake is perfect for walks and watching the sunset. Perfect place for a picnic with family.

Very quiet park on a weekday morning. Very clean and well maintained park. I liked the regular path and the hidden elevated nature path that felt like a secret path (to a secluded pavillion). Plenty of benches along the paths. I saw there was a couple fishing areas and kayaks for rental.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
