A fun place for small groups and families. Of course, you can comfortably take a walk by yourself. There are covered benches so you can have a meal or snack here.
Very nice view, peaceful to sit and relax. We went to see information about the Trail of Tears. Had a playground for kids and public restroom.
This beautiful park is my favorite in the city. The small walking path is perfect for quick walks, the views are outstanding, and there is nothing quite like sitting by the river for a picnic in the green space & letting the kids play afterwards on the playground.
Decent park in downtown Decatur with a nice Riverside view of two bridges. The park itself looks like it'd be fun for kids as it had a playground, or maybe lunch breaks. I liked that it is within walking distance of Bank St. which is kind of the downtown street.
