Confirmed from Richard G Wishnie Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Calming park for strolls and runs, as well as picnics. Has a paved path around a pond and fountain.

What runners say about Richard G Wishnie Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (72 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Not a long walk around the pond, but when the fountain is running, the visuals can be really nice. Especially when the water breaks the sunlight in to a rainbow

★★★★★ — Rick , Mar 2023

I love walking around this park! 3 laps around the park equals 1 mile. Its also fan to bring the kids to watch the turtles, birds and fishes that live there. Every time I've been there the park has been cleaned.

★★★★★ — Ana , Oct 2019

This is a nice, small neighborhood park, with a flat, circular, paved walking path that goes around a pond with a fountain, ducks and turtles. One lap = 1/3 of a mile. It's nice for when you want to take an afternoon walk in nice weather, and don't want to do a strenuous hike in the woods.

★★★★★ — Lauren , Jan 2023

Love coming here to catch fresh air with my daughter! We walk, run, ride scooter or bikes, sit and chat on the benches while we overlook the fountain! People are friendly as they stroll by!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
