Confirmed from Ridge Run Park Central's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A spot with a variety of trails, plus sledding hills, fishing spots and a playground for children.
What runners say about Ridge Run Park Central
“If you head southbound on the Ice Age Trail West Bend, you will discover scenic lilly filled ponds and lakes connected to Silver Creek.”
This was a really nice trail that can be short or long since it's part of the ice age trail. The short trail goes in a circle and is a little over a mile. Was beautiful in the fall with the changing colors and nice ponds. Had a great walk with the wife and dog.
Another great spot for families and gatherings. Picnic areas, restrooms, fishing, dragonflies, kayaking, and BBQ. If you head southbound on the Ice Age Trail West Bend, you will discover scenic lilly filled ponds and lakes connected to Silver Creek.
Great location along the Ice Age Trail. Beautiful trails north (short) and south (longer). Bathrooms only open during summer so be aware, lots of trees though. 😜 Park entrance is a bit hidden, just before UWM extension sign.
We love this park! The hiking trails are great and provide a lot of variety! Our toddler loves riding his balance bike around and exploring. A beautiful spot for the tree planted in memory of our first born.
