Confirmed from Ridgeline Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Ridgeline Open Space

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (63 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“Beautiful scenery, and trails that suite just about anyone looking for an escape!”

This open trail has great walking and biking trails for beginners and experts of all likes. The trails are easy to moderate, no difficult ones that will challenge you, however, for bicyclists who challenges themselves to super speeds, they may endure some tricky bumps and jumps.

Met up with a few friends to ride the trails. Beautiful views and really nice single track. The trails are starting to show some deep cuts of the many riders but still in excellent condition hiking, running or riding. The benches at a few spots are also a nice touch for those looking to stop and enjoy the views.

★★★★★ — David , Oct 2021

Great place to hike with kids. Good maps so you don't get lost. Trail connects to a wider trail system. Bike it or snowshoe it when conditions are right. Parking space. Great views! Picknick benches, no tables.

★★★★★ — Kerstin , Dec 2016

Wonderful open space with many loops you can connect together. Very easy to get a 2-3 mile hike in with solid views and about 200ft of net elevation gain. Some tricky spots that need a bit more attention, but nothing the average hiker couldn't handle.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
