Confirmed from Ripp Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ripp Park
“Park itself was very spacious and well maintained.”
“There is also a platform by the water tower for great views of the city and surrounding area.”
What a beautiful community park! You'll find walking trails, ball diamonds, tennis courts, soccer fields, parking areas, a bike lane, and two shelter buildings with tables and bathrooms. Everything is manicured and clean. This is a great place for individual, family, or community events!
The park is ginormous! There are tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields. Plus at least one playground, two shelters and a pier to go see Six Mile creek. There is also a platform by the water tower for great views of the city and surrounding area.
Nice little pet exercise area. I needed a place to walk my dog off leash for mornings before work. This is perfect for that purpose. He can run a bit but can't get too far away so I can leave when I need to.
Forth of July fireworks were great. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the show. Traffic is not bad, best bet is to walk about a 1/2mile from the park.
