Confirmed from Castle Creek Conservancy's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Castle Creek Conservancy
“Nice getaway for a short scenic hike right in town.”
This is a quaint park, not large at all. But, how the space is used, it makes for a great warm up. The unusual bridges, marsh and winding paths through the pine grove will surely have me coming back!
What a fantastic park! The trails really make the park seem much bigger than it is. There are three bridges over the creek. It really is quite beautiful. I can't wait to visit when everything is lush and green. I liked the conifer grove.
Such a lovely walk! I saw a deer, a lil gardener snake, and a woodpecker. Altogether, I clocked in at 2 miles doing two loops. Would be a lovely walk with small kiddos who are interested in discovering nature!
I ran into this park during a recent jog. Since my legs were still sore from the recent WaunaFest 10 miler, I was in search of a soft surface to run on. I detoured off my usual route on Division Street and started running through the Conservatory.
