Confirmed from River Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great park to bring your dogs to play in the creek. Not usually busy. Very pretty and clean with lots of walking trails too

★★★★★ — Aimes , Aug 2024

A hidden gem in Brentwood! This is a very nice park with a pavilion, basketball courts, and lots of views of the river. I was also shocked at how far the walking path goes out- it connects to Crockett Park so you can literally go for miles on it! Great place to enjoy the outdoors!

★★★★★ — Lindsey , Dec 2020

Nice place for long runs. Can get to Vivrette Smith and do a loop around Crockett for 12 miles. More can be added on by going out and back on Split Log/Ragsdale or Knox Valley.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🛣️ Paved surface 4 mentions

“The playground is awesome for toddlers and the paved trail leading all the easy to Crockett Park is an easy and enjoyable walk or ride for nearly anyone.”

  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
