Confirmed from Tower Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring soccer fields, paved trails and dog parks for large and small dogs.
What runners say about Tower Park
“The grass is well kept and there are public restrooms and water fountains.”
“Not a lot of shade but a great view of Brentwood's famous tower!”
“The dog parks are a nice long walk from the parking area which is great for the dogs to decompress.”
Fantastic park with a wonderful dog park. Nice paved greenways as well. Highly recommend. Nice dogs and people the 2 times I visited.
Tower park is located adjacent to the famous WSMV radio tower giving the park it’s name. The park is a favorite of soccer and lacrosse players, dog owners and walkers/joggers. There is a paved walking/running trail that marks your distance perfectly.
My dog Memphis & I had fun at the park. I’m a ham radio operator & the info plaque about WSM was very interesting. Love the history about the station. The unique tower is a Blaw-Knox, one of only a handful that still remain in the nation. Memphis did great on the leash & the trails are mostly level.
Wide open spaces! Place must act as county soccer fields during the season. The dog parks are a nice long walk from the parking area which is great for the dogs to decompress. It could use some better directions to find them if you've never been there.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
