Confirmed from Riverbend Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green-space featuring a playground and picnic tables, plus riverside hiking and biking trails.
What runners say about Riverbend Nature Park
“Very nice park for a great view of nature, quiet park nestled just a short drive from Ormond Beach.”
Easily my favorite mountain bike trails in central Florida. About 6 miles of flying, some technical but everything is doable. And the bathroom is air conditioned! I’ve included a map in case it’s helpful for anyone.
This park was an unexpected surprise, it's got a challenging narrow single-track with a mix of ups and downs and some features. The skills area is really nice, you can work on jumps and other skills. There is also a bike wash, tool area and a pump.. The views are really nice too once u get out on the trail..
Nice but short mountain bike trails. Builders did great job avoiding/ removing roots and using available space. If trail was longer would be 4 star review.
We came to ride our mountain bikes, unsure of what it would offer as it’s not a trail listed on the MTB project as of yet. Turned out to be a super fun single track! Not as gnarly as somewhere like graham swamp, which was nice for my legs that weren’t fully recovered.

“Great little park with playground for the kids, tables and grills, restrooms, a dock for foshong or just looking out st the river, and about 3 mikes of mountain bike trails.”
“There’s also a little skills section near the parking area to tool around on before or after your ride.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
