Confirmed from Riverbend Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open space with soccer fields, a public restroom, and a bicycle trail.
What runners say about Riverbend Park
“This park is a great place to go when you want/need to be left alone, the parking lot is spacious and has shady nooks to get out of the sun.”
I go here quite oftwn just to het out of town even if it's just ombyhe outakirts of Lompoc. Most if the time there's nobody out there with the exception of a few locals. I enjoy just driving out thwre, park and either read, take a nap, or go for a walk.
Spacious park. Trails to go walking, lots of trees for shade. Catch & release fishing. Ducks roam the park. Great for family pinics. Larger pavilions must rent & reserve with Lompoc city. Smaller pinic tables have a small grill for BBQ. These smaller picnic tables are first come, first serve. Had my son's birthday.
It's an under-utilized piece of bliss. Always well maintained. Great for walking with or without dogs. Plenty of parking and porta potties. The Park Rangers come through regularly and there is a resident groundskeeper to oversee the day-to-day operations.
Very pretty and a good place to enter for bicycle trail access. Other nearby parks are better for wildlife viewing. This has an occasional coyote and several turkeys but very few deer or other birds.
