Very nice small park, scenic river views. I think you would be able to get some nice shots during the Golden hours for photography.
History: This is a park was once a campground. Then became year round campground. It had swimming and things to do in the past. It is now turned into a park. It's a lovely spot to just sit and relax.. You could have a picnic there or even a Family Day there.
A genuine hidden gem. Easy to miss from the street, this modest little park on the Merrimack River has ramp access to the water for canoes & kayaks (but barriers to prevent boat/jetski trailers) it's a very small ramp. There is a relatively large grassy area, a paved path for walking, biking or strollers.
First and foremost this park gives you close proximity to the Merrimack river. Fishing is a common activity here, throwing rocks into the river ( for kids) you name it. It is quiet, clean and decent looking. Smaller than most parks. There is a play area for kids with a few swings.
