Confirmed from Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Riverside Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (780 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“The nature trail is beautiful albeit a bit spooky alone.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“A great park for all ages, my son loves this park, he's 3!”

Read some mixed reviews. Sharing my experience with photos. Disc ⛳ course was active. Circled the guy playing and the target in the first photo. It's a pretty natural course. You're in the high desert plains, and this is what nature looks like.

I love this park. It almost lost a star because the overnight rv parking is only 20 amp and runs parallel to the expressway. But neither of those would stop me from coming back. There is so much offered here between the lakes with various geese and ducks, all the sports activities and hiking trails. It's beautiful.

The nature trail is beautiful albeit a bit spooky alone. Great for walks/runs. Big park right off of 76

★★★★☆ — Brenda , Aug 2017

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
