Confirmed from Riverside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice area to walk, playground is up to date and clean. Tennis court and track are a plus!

Great place to walk or run, play tennis and there’s even a playground for the kids. And this park sits right beside the river so there’s a pretty view. There’s also 2 pavilions you can use for picnics but I do believe you have to reserve them for the summer. There’s a track here because the high school uses it.

★★★★★ — Sandra , May 2021

Beautiful park by the Allegheny River with something for almost everyone. There is a smooth path down on the North side (close to the bridge). There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a large pavilion, and a spacious playground.

★★★★☆ — Christopher , Sep 2021

We love the park. There is so much for everyone to do. The ONLY issue I have, especially when my son was small, is they removed alot trees a while ago that provided some much needed shade in the play ground area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
