Confirmed from Riverwalk: Eagleland Dr. Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Riverwalk: Eagleland Dr. Trailhead
“Eagleland is nestled between a beautiful bridge that connects the area with a high school and the Big Tex community.”
“go left and there's miles and miles of a wide path along the river great for biking walking or running with lots of distance markers to keep track of how far you went.”
“Not a lot of shade but it's a wonderful spot for better weather or the well hydrated.”
Such a beautiful trail! We walked all the way to LaVillita! Will definitely go back, just make sure you go to the bathroom before you head out. The only restrooms we came across were at the Guenther house and then apparently there was one at La Villita, but we didn't realize it till after we already left there.
A very nice place to walk ^-^ not much shade tho owo so keep that in mind :3
I love this section of the Riverwalk. Just south of the Bluestar Art District and at the edge of The Lone Star District. This is a wonderful place to view while on your ride or on a run. I love to stop here and take in since of the natural environment.
